- Alexandria Jones Review added: 2018.07.10★ ★ ★ ★ ★Beautiful Peaceful secluded B&B. This gorgeous House is surrounded by trees trees and more trees lol on the edge of a river down from a Ford. Mine hosts Nick and Barbara are a lovely couple who cater for your every need and whim - within reason - and are happy to welcome you to share their home and are a mine of information regarding the local area. If you are a walker they can help you with some fabulous walks. If you are not a walker like me they still have plenty of suggestions about where to go within the area or where to go for your dinner in the evening. Barbara also offers beauty treatments which are luxurious - I had a facial when I stayed and I fell asleep! The whole experience is wonderful and well worth a visit be it for a couple of nights or longer. If like me you want to get away from car noise, street lights , in fact any sign of suburban life and replace it with the sound of the river, trees and owls and actually hear the dawn chorus if you wake that early then this is the place for you! Thanks to Nick and Barbara you feel at home in a beautiful house in a beautiful part of the world. Highly recommended. Will be visiting again soon. Feel like I've made 2 new friends!
